Kris was born and raised in DesMoines, Iowa. She began work at Arcata Animal Hospital in August 1985.
She had previously had Veterinary Technician experience on the Island of St.
Thomas. Kris is an extremely valuable member of our team. Her years of
experience combined with her compassion and ability to empathize with our
patients make her a cornerstone of our hospital. She enjoys getting to understand the personalities of all of our patients at the hospital.
Kris shares her home with Vera, her canine companion. Vera is a regular at our
hospital where she spends time waiting in her own special dog kennel for her
mom to finish work so they can go home and enjoy the day at the beach or in the
backyard, or just simply curled up with a good book.
Kris also enjoys rowing in her canoe, and playing the steel drum for a local group.
