Because of her immense patience and her dedicated personality, Summer is an extremly valuable member of our team. She shares her life with her partner, Matt, the wonderful and entertaining Tele, the kitty, and the cute underwater creature, Schroedinger.

Summer began working for Arcata Animal Hospital in March of 2000. She attended Humboldt State University and attained a Pre-Veterinary/Zoology degree. Currently, Summer is working towards a Masters degree in Business Administration at HSU. She first worked for AAH as a receptionist for four years, then became a technician/assistant. Due to their appreciative nature, Summer is always very happy to help the animals in need that come into our hospital.
