Summer's previous animal experience includes working at another veterinary hospital, volunteering at the Santa Barbara Animal Shelter, and volunteering at the Santa Barbara Zoo. She shares her home with Hali, her five year old Husky/Lab, Joya, her two year old LabX, and Forest, a one year old cat. Summer enjoys hiking, reading, and travelling to tropical places.

Summer joined us at Arcata Animal Hospital in July of 2006. She grew up in the Santa Barbara area and attended UCSB, graduating with a degree in geography.
